It’s hermit time! Alison and Timothy share the story of English Jack, a hermit who lived in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. A romantic poem written about Jack’s life tells of being orphaned at a young age, becoming a sailor, suffering starvation and disease after being shipwrecked on a desert island, fighting in the Crimean War, and more.
